Incorporating the best of interactive theatre and sketch comedy, Shanghai San Francisco is a live choose-your-own-adventure. Instead of sitting in a theatre, you embark on a mission through the city, seeking out actors on the streets, in charming bars and swanky restaurants.
It’s not a play, though you will be a player. It’s not a tour, though you will be walking. When the performance begins, the audience learns that a San Francisco native has been shanghaied (kidnapped) and are called upon to save her from her fate out at sea. Instead of sitting in a theater, the audience embarks on a two-hour mission through the city, seeking out actors on the streets, in charming native bars and in swanky hideaway restaurants.
Shanghai San Francisco is the only experience of its kind, inviting you to see the city from an entirely new perspective, all the while tasting local food and drink.
